    Help me with this stuff!

#1 My Toy Room/Sun Room/Office.  I have to admit I usually, like I am now, using my laptop IMG_0960on the sofa.  But we do have a desk top that my daughter uses and we use when the other person is on the laptop.  Any IMG_0957how check this room out it's a mess:

You can see here who the main problem is.  Funny thing is he'd rather play with all our paperwork, see all the boxes open???

Nice eh?  I'm also worried that if I put everything in bins that he'll never play with it again.  There was also a Christmas and a birthday and a over zealous toy buying mom-in-law since then.

    #2 My hair:

    IMG_0977

This is me this morning, yeah I look good...no make-up...no coffee...just woke up....oh hush.

These are the haircuts, I must mention my husband likes my hair long he says it looks healthy.  But I'm kind of sick of it and need a change.  So I'm thinking bangs.  My hair is naturally curly.  I also have a formal dining out on Saturday.  My haircut is scheduled on Friday.  (Please note I'm getting skinnier, lol,  I've lost 1 1/2 inches around my natural waist 2 inches of boobs, I'm not to happy about that, and nothing off the hips yet.)  The cuts are similar but I'm not doing color so don't look at that aspect. I'm not gray yet and don't intend on coloring until then!!! So please pick the haircut you like the best for my face shape.  I tried finding similar face shapes and hair I liked:

                   #1                 #2                       #3

Oh yeah RAVEN tagged me with 6 unremarkable facts about me:

    1.  I read a lot, I usually have 2-3 books going at the same time.  I pick the one I read depending on the mood I'm in.

    2.  My new habit is library cook books.  I'm sick of cooking things I know.  Right now I have Cooks Illustrated 30 minute cook book, after cooking about 3 meals it's pretty good so far.

    3.  I tossed all of the BABYs bottles a few days ago because of the KM BPA scare.  I feel jinxed if I don't do things when it comes to health and the such that I hear about.  If I don't make the change right away it niggles at me.  Jinxed, yeah I know how dorky.  The BABY seems unconcerned about having only sippy cups now, that was easy.

    4.  I like the idea of going to parties.  Being in the Air Force my husband and I get invited to heaps of parties. In this last year I've been invited to more parties than in the whole rest of my life.  At least parties with actual dates, when I lived in New Orleans it was a given that there would be a "party" every day.  Notice I said "like the idea of going to parties".  When I was in my 20's I liked nothing better than to go to a party....now it seems I like preparing but then when I get there I'm so darn bored!  I miss my best friend, maybe it's just the people and not really feeling comfortable.  I mean I'm always afraid that I'll blurt out something about politics or religion.  LOL!

    5.  I'm excited about my road trip this summer.

    6.  I'm trying to run for the first time in my life.  I'm only up to 4 minutes! LOL, pretty funny seeing this in type, a tiny 4 minutes.  I'm adding a minute each day.  I have crappy ankles but I've now noticed that ALL the skinny people @ the gym run.  So...I'm running.

Well I must get ready for church, my homeless families come today.  Wish me luck!

Hope to see ya again soon,

It might be late but about the toy thing:  what about benches under the windows?  the kind you can sit on but raise up to put the toys in. They can have legs if you need the heating vents to come out under neath them

I was going to talk about the haircut, but now I have to go off on boring AF parties.  I had people actually STARE at me at parties because of the things I said--and I was sober.  A lot of the pilot wives acted like children--no drinkin', no cussin', no nothin.  they would usually sit around and talk to each other about water aerobics or prenatal aerobics or the next bake sale.  Yawn!  There were some kind of skanky wives when we first got there, but a lot of them got kicked to the curb.  Of course there were also the mandatory fun functions which were stiff and lame.  Again, Yawn.

Also, the men would talk SO MUCH shop.  Yawn.  If I see one more guy fly his hands around the room, I'm gonna scream! The Hub and I started inviting people over for dinner.  We pour whiskey and beer and the fun people would stay and the lame people would go.  Don't get me wrong--you don't have to drink to hang out with us.  But, we would tell stories and laugh until late at night and if that wasn't you scene, well, too bad!

    Whudya do about you hair?

Good for you on the running! You've got me beat by about 3 minutes, 45 seconds - lol! I really like the idea of running, but I'm just way too top-heavy and it is painful. I'll stick with yoga and walking. But you're right; runners all looks so slender and fit! My younger brother runs marathons and does the Mud Run at Camp Pendleton, which looks like a ton of fun.

God bless your families at church!

Heeeeeeey! Well Im too late to pick a hair do so youll just have to post a pic of whatever you decided on in the end!  Oh and pre walking/apres walking - LMAO cos I remember having tidy rooms a very long time ago now ;O)  Ya gotta go for big plastic crates so they can still see what they got but you got somewhere to shove everything at bed time.  I think theyre the only reason I never broke my neck tripping over a ball or something!

Hope you had a great time on Saturday! Hugs Punzy xxx

    Hola

I normally have my kids pick up their toys after they play, it do not always work, but one thing for sure is that I have to ask them at least 5 to 10 times and if they do not pick up the toys they do not get to play or watch TV or whatever they may be longing to do, well, most of the times.  Baskets or bins work fantastic. I know my kids love being praised and with the smaller one I always ask him to give me 5 once he does it and I start jumping, he starts jumping, oh kids, they make us crazy but it is all good huh. If it helps you to know,  my kitchen drawers, are all full of toys instead of utensils, oh and not to mention my husband, he has one for his tools.

About the hair style, #1 it is loose and bouncy I like that one

About the running, go for it, 4 minutes is good and eventually you will love doing it. Are you running on a treadmill or outdoors?

Amiga, take care and good luck, we all will be waiting to see your new hairstyle.

    Patty.

on the room toy thing.  i'm 55 and never had kids.  not much good for you there.  maybe, mmmmm, hang the little buggers up in the closet until the blood rushes out of their brain?

oh, i mean teach them to put their things away?

a shucks, see what I mean...

on the hair, i'm thinking the same as NHightower.  Tho, for me it isn't even a question.  I'm certain this is a trick.

I've been married long enough to have messed up this sort of thing royally.  I have now memerized several approriate answers and am fine until a new, untested question comes up.

Does this make me look younger?  Ansewer YES.

Do I look better in this or this?  You are as radiant as a sunrise and light up the room, regardless of what you are, or not wearing.  Darned.  Screwed thatone up anyway.

    I'm bored: YES!

I'm still bored: NOW I'm EMBARRASED.

It's a trick question! Isn't it?? They all look a like to me! One is parted different. One is longer than the rest. But all are long bangs parted on the side, the cut is layered and they have it styled with large rollers for added body. I vote for #3!
